To celebrate the launch of our brand new SBID x Future Strand website, we’ll be running a special photo competition for everyone who loves this special seaside town as much as we do!

We’re looking for beautiful images that capture the magic of Strand – summery beach scenes, spectacular sunsets, the hustle and bustle of CBD life, whatever makes your heart skip a beat, really.

The images will be loaded onto the Future Strand Facebook page, with credit to the photographer, for the world to see.

What’s more: we’d like to select a WINNER whose entry will be used as the new background photo for our homepage!

Photo guidelines

What we’re looking for in a winning image:

  • Aesthetically pleasing composition – a feast for the eyes
  • Landscape/horizontal dimensions (not portrait/vertical)
  • Something that captures the essence of Strand
  • Availability of a high-res (at least 2000 pixels in width) version of the image

Unfortunately we cannot use any of the following on the homepage:

  • Selfies
  • Close-up photos of people, especially children

Prizes

Apart from their photo being used as the official homepage image of the SBID x Future Strand website, the winner will also receive an 18593 Apollo Coffee Machine sponsored by Russel Hobbs and  Friedman & Cohen.
